On behalf of the City Council and Administrative Staff, it is my pleasure and delight, as the Mayor of this great city, to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome. We hope that you find it convenient and user friendly and utilize it as a tool for your inquiries.  This site is an excellent informational resource about our City Government, departments, events, and so much more.

Woodbine has been the county seat of Camden County since 1923. As you enter our city limits, we hope that you feel the pride, small-town charm, and sense of family and community we have here. If you have chosen our beautiful city as your home or workplace, we’re so glad you’re here. Whether you’re passing through for business at one of the government complexes, enjoying our beautiful Satilla River, attending our annual Crawfish Festival, or visiting our great residents, we hope that you will continue to return. We are proud to say that Woodbine is one of the safest cities in Georgia.

We believe that Woodbine has very unique attributes that makes it special to us. We have several places to choose for worship, a beautiful river walk path for exercising or a leisurely stroll with your family and pets, great food, and awesome people. Woodbine hosts several events throughout the year for the community’s enjoyment and several committees and organizations to get involved with. We are confident that you will find something fun and family oriented to do here.
